- We’re continuing to reduce our scopes 1 and 2 emissions by implementing energy efficiency measures, switching to more sustainable energy sources and using credible market-based solutions
- We’re targeting the offset of our historical emissions back to 20001
Nature is vital for the health of our planet, our climate and our economy. 60% of the world’s GDP has a dependency on nature2, yet as many as one million animal and plant species are threatened with extinction3. That’s why nature is an important part of our sustainability strategy. It’s also why we’re contributing and committing to new frameworks like the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), helping our clients explore opportunities connected to nature, and working with partners such as the UBS Global VisionariesUBS Global Visionaries to support nature-positive solutions. All of this is underpinned by our thought leadership, designed to deepen our understanding of the risks and opportunities presented by the biodiversity challengebiodiversity challenge.
