The world became wealthier for the third year in a row

This momentum reflects continued growth across global markets, led in large part by strong performance in the US.

  • 10.8%

    In 2025,  personal wealth grew 10.8% measured in USD—more than three times the rate achieved in 2024 and almost twice the rate of 2023.

  • 35.7%

    of the world’s personal wealth resides in the US market. If including China, these two countries together account for more than half of the world's wealth.

  • ~1 million

    new millionaires were created in 2025. The US accounts for almost half of this growth, with more than 1,000 new millionaires emerging every day.
