Our Advanced Apprenticeships typically range from 15-18 months and enable you to gain industry recognized qualifications to start your career. Completion of the advanced apprenticeship can also lead to a relevant higher apprenticeship and further qualifications.

You will be registered as a learner with one of our training partners and have access to training, guidance and support.

Finance

Join us in Group Finance and you'll work towards a Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship, gaining the AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting as part of your apprenticeship. Upon completion you will have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 4 higher apprenticeship in Accounting as a next-step program.

Application Requirements: 104 UCAS points (BCC at A-Level or equivalent), and GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English Language (5 or above) and Mathematics (6 or above).

Business Administrator – Investment Bank

Business Administrator – Global Banking

Join us in Global Banking and you'll work towards gaining the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship. You'll be gaining relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to build a foundation to your career in Administration.

Application Requirements: BCC at A-Level or equivalent, and Level 5 or above in Mathematics and English Language GCSE. 

You’ll be working within Global Banking, part of the UBS Investment Bank, supporting various teams with administration and coordination of tasks.

How you will develop

What will you get out of it?

Your development is at the heart of our program and we ensure that you get a mixture of formal learning and professional experience. You will be allocated a set amount of time during your working hours to dedicate to learning, such as university studies or internal UBS training.

Aside from the experience you’ll gain in your role, we believe additional opportunities to grow should be open to everyone. This can be through job shadowing, a carefully designed curriculum or through training offerings from the UBS University, our internal learning platform. We care about your development.

What support will you receive?

You will have a line manager who will guide you through your role and support you as you study. In addition, your advanced apprenticeship is supported by senior business sponsors, HR program manager and an academic coach with our training partners who will assist with your training and ensure you are getting the most out of your program.

You will get the chance to experience our dynamic work culture firsthand. You’ll be part of our day-to-day operations, get the chance to network with industry leaders, and attend speaker sessions and events to learn more about the industry. We will also aim to assign an experienced colleague to you as a career mentor, as you transition and progress into the workplace.

Program eligibility

To apply, you must be in your final year of A Levels or equivalent.

Grade requirements for each program vary depending on the business area.
