Hong Kong/Shanghai, 4th January 2024 – UBS’s 24th Greater China Conference (GCC) will take place on 8th and 9th January 2024, with the theme China and the world: recalibration and alignment. As China moves into 2024, what policy tools could be deployed to generate growth? How might China address the property market issues and local government debt? How might geopolitical tensions and the US election affect investors? How will new technologies and green transition impact the key sectors? The investors will gather at the 24th GCC to discuss these topics which are key for investment decisions.

“China continues to be the world’s second-largest economy and wealth creation hub and remains an extremely attractive market for UBS. It is important for both global and Chinese investors and corporate leaders to better understand the big ideas and trends shaping China. The Greater China Conference is the premier forum bringing together experts to provide such insights,” said Colm Kelleher, Chairman of the Board, UBS Group AG who will address the conference delegates in Shanghai.

This year’s conference has seen over 3,000 professionals register to attend, including 1,500 institutional investors and executives from more than 280 Chinese listed and private companies.
