Mariana heads the Global Access Initiative in GWM Americas and Global FIM International for Global Wealth Management.

Her mandate for the Global Access Initiative involves connecting the firm’s most valued clients with a US based team dedicated to working in partnership with trusted advisors based all over the world. The mission of the initiative is to promote a global coverage model that ensures a holistic and aligned client experience in the US and abroad in a seamless manner.

In her role heading FIM International, Mariana overseas teams dedicated to servicing institutional clients such as multi family offices, banks, and asset managers from all over the globe, looking to partner with UBS for Wealth Management Solutions.

Mariana joined UBS in 2006 and over the years has held several roles in Products, Operations and Strategy, and Client Facing organizations driving diverse teams with P&L responsibility.  She has cross divisional experience having worked in both Wealth Management and Asset Management in New York, Zurich, London, and most recently Miami.

Originally from Brazil, educated in the US, and with 15+ years of professional experience in Europe, Mariana brings a global vision to her work and a proven track record for driving change.

Mariana holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and proficient in Spanish.
