A Reuters article on 12 March reported that the Trump administration's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would roll back more than 30 Biden-era regulations aimed to limit emissions from power plants and carsand to minimize aquatic pollution. Measures announced include the decision to change how waterways are defined under the Clean Water Act, loosen emissions standards for heavy- and light-duty vehicles for 2027 vehicles onward, and endeavor to undo the "endangerment finding" that greenhouse gas emissions are a risk to public health.
