By many measures, markets have had a “roaring 20s”— with five years of strong performance for global equity market indices, technological breakthroughs, and stronger-than-expected US economic growth. Of course, in that time we have also experienced a global pandemic, the outbreak of wars, and societal challenges amid higher consumer prices.

                          Amy Lo is Chairman, Global Wealth Management Asia, Co-Head of Wealth Management Asia Pacific, Head and Chief Executive of UBS Hong Kong, and a Managing Director at UBS. Amy has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Since joining UBS in 1995, she has held a number of senior management positions including Regional Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office in Asia. Today, the ultra-high net worth business is the leading wealth manager for ultra-high net worth individuals in the region.

                          Actively involved in the development of the private banking industry in Hong Kong, Amy chairs the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA), and is a Board Member of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) and the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy. She is also a member of the Banking Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Education Bureau and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.

                          A passionate supporter of youth education and technological innovation in Greater China, Amy is a member of The Court and the MBA Advisory Board at The University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a Board Member of the UBS Optimus Foundation, the independent grant-making foundation that helps UBS clients improve the education and welfare of children globally.

                          In recognition of her contribution to the wealth management industry, Amy was named Private Banker of the Year in the Asian Private Banker Awards for Distinction 2020 and 2023. She also received the Executive Award at the DHL/SCMP Business Awards 2018 for her efforts in building UBS as a corporate citizen in Hong Kong. She was also named by a top-tier Chinese media, China Business News, as one of the "Hong Kong Top 20 in the next 20 years" for her contribution to innovation developments in 2017.

                          UBS’s Chief Investment Office (CIO)—which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2021—is at the core of UBS’s USD 5.4 trillion investment ecosystem, bringing outstanding thought leadership and investable solutions to individuals and families around the world.

                          Mark leads a team of about 1,200 investment professionals working 24/7 and 365 days a year in 19 locations around the globe. It was named ”Best Private Bank for Chief Investment Office” in the Financial Times-owned Professional Wealth Management/ The Banker Global Private Banking Awards 2023 for the second time since the category was introduced in 2021 and was recognized as “the world’s best private bank for discretionary portfolio management” in the 2023 Euromoney Private Banking Awards.

                          Mark joined UBS as Head of Investment, CIO WM in 2011. He was previously the co-founder and co-fund manager at Sonic Capital and served as a Managing Director at Matrix Capital Management.

                          A former lecturer and acting dean at Harvard University, Mark appears frequently in numerous financial media around the world, including CNBC, Bloomberg and the WSJ. He also posts investment and other views regularly on LinkedIn where he now has over half a million followers.

                          Min Lan Tan is the Head of the Asia Pacific Investment Office at UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office since July 2013. She serves as a member of the House View Investment Forum and Asia Investment Meeting, which formulate the regional and global UBS House View.

                          Prior to joining UBS Global Wealth Management, Min Lan spent eleven years with the UBS Investment Bank where she held several senior appointments in both the Equities and Fixed Income divisions.

                          Between 2002-2012, Min Lan was the Head of Research and Strategist at UBS Securities Singapore. Over this period, the research team was top ranked across key institutional surveys and Min Lan was personally ranked the number 1 analyst in Singapore by Asiamoney for ten consecutive years.

                          In 2006, as UBS expanded its equities footprint in Asia Pacific, she was concurrently appointed the Head of Equities for the Singapore hub, with oversight of research, sales, trading and execution, prime brokerage, risk managed products, exchange traded derivatives and bank for banks.

                          In 2012, Min Lan moved into the FICC division to become the Global Head of FICC Macro Strategy Research. She was put in charge of teams covering global asset allocation, global emerging markets, fixed income, FX and credit research.

                          At the IB, she was also the global Senior Relationship Manager for the Government of Singapore Investment Corp (GIC) between 2010-2013.
                          Before joining UBS, Min Lan was a senior economist with the Econometric Modelling unit at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, as well as an Asian economist cum strategist at Merrill Lynch Securities.

                          Min Lan holds a Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA charter holder. She sits on the Board of Trustees of the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

                          After a 30 year career in tech and serving as Chief Business Officer at Google [X], Google's 'moonshot factory' of innovation, Mo has made happiness his primary topic of research, diving deeply into literature and conversing on the topic with some of the wisest people in the world.

                          In 2014, motivated by the tragic loss of his son, Ali, Mo began pouring his findings into his international bestselling book, Solve for Happy: Engineer Your Path to Joy. His mission to help one billion people become happier, #OneBillionHappy, is his moonshot attempt to honor Ali by spreading the message that happiness can be learned and shared to one billion people.

                          In 2020, Mo launched his chart-topping podcast, Slo Mo: A Podcast with Mo Gawdat, a weekly series of extraordinary interviews that explores the profound questions and obstacles we all face in the pursuit of purpose and happiness in our lives.

                          In 2021, Mo published Scary Smart: The Future of Artificial Intelligence and How You Can Save Our World, a roadmap detailing how humanity can ensure a symbiotic coexistence with AI when it inevitably becomes a billion times smarter than we are.

                          His latest book is That Little Voice in Your Head: Adjust the Code That Runs Your Brain (2022), a comprehensive user manual for optimally using the human brain optimally to thrive and avoid suffering.

                          Jon Gordon is a cross-asset strategist with the UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office (GWM CIO) in Hong Kong. Jon is a key contributor the bank’s daily briefings and research notes for wealth clients, delivering context and actionable views on fast-moving developments that directly impact client portfolios. As a key contributor to the UBS Circle One project, Jon is leading a shift to multimedia research, and helping the bank to reshape now wealthy clients make and execute investment decisions. Prior to UBS, Jon worked as TV host and journalist in China and the APAC region, contributing to CNBC, Reuters and the BBC. He holds an MBA in Corporate finance from Spain’s IE university.

                          Mr. Forelli is Head of Portfolio Research for Boston Partners. Mr. Forelli and his team work closely with the portfolio management teams, analyzing portfolios and communicating details of the current positioning, performance, and outlook for the full suite of Boston Partners strategies to both clients and prospects.

                          Prior to this role, he was a senior portfolio analyst at the firm. Mr. Forelli has extensive experience with all of the firm’s strategies and 12 years of experience as a portfolio manager focused on large-cap equities. He joined the firm in May 2010 from Independence Investments where he was a large cap portfolio manager, senior partner, and member of the Investment Committee.

                          Mr. Forelli was also a research analyst specializing in health care, chemical, and industrial companies. He began his career as an investment banker with Prudential Securities focusing on raising capital for emerging growth companies and merger and acquisition transactions.

                          Mr. Forelli earned a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. Mr. Forelli began his career in the investment industry in 1984.

                          Ed Huang is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific (APAC) for Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions Group based in Hong Kong. Private Wealth Solutions’ mission is to bring institutional quality products across a broad spectrum of alternative asset classes to individual investors and their advisors.

                          Mr. Huang joined Blackstone in 2012, and Private Wealth Solutions in 2024. Prior to his current role, Mr. Huang was COO of Asia Private Equity, Head of BCP Asia Acquisitions, and led Greater China and Korea for Blackstone’s Private Equity Group. Mr. Huang has led or been involved in Blackstone’s investments in Ennovi/Interplex, Geo-Young, SHP Packaging, Global Sources, Pactera, and Simone.

                          Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Huang was previously a Managing Director for China investments at Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia and worked in investment banking for Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch in New York and Hong Kong.

                          Mr. Huang received a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Huang serves as a director on the boards of Ennovi/Interplex, Geo-Young and SHP Packaging. He is also director on the boards of the China and Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Associations, and a member of the Yale Asia Development Council.

                          Xuesong joined Polar Capital in May 2012. He is a lead manager of the Polar Capital Artificial Intelligence Fund and is a Fund Manager on the Polar Capital Technology Trust and Polar Capital Global Technology Fund.

                          Prior to joining Polar Capital, he spent four years working as an investment analyst within the emerging markets & Asia team at Aviva Investors, where he was responsible for the technology, media and telecom sectors. Prior to that, he worked as a quantitative analyst and risk manager for the emerging market debt team at Pictet Asset Management. He started his career as a financial engineer at Algorithmics, now owned by IBM, in 2005.

                          Adrian Zuercher is Head Global Asset Allocation and Co-Head Global Investment Management APAC at UBS Chief Investment office. In his Global Asset Allocation role, he is responsible for multi-asset portfolio solutions. He co-chairs the tactical investment forum, the global portfolio construction meeting, and is a member of the global investment committee, which defines the UBS CIO house-view. In his Global IM APAC capacity, he is responsible for investment fund selection, portfolio management, and product development. Adrian oversees regional discretionary and advisory mandates, investment and alternatives funds, sustainable investing, and the wealth planning offering.

                          Before joining UBS, Adrian was Head of Multi-Asset Emerging Market Strategy and Global Asset Allocation at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Hong Kong and Zurich, where he was responsible for multi-asset class portfolios as well as advising sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors on asset allocation. Prior to that, he was an equity fund manager in charge of Asia at VP Bank Asset Management, and a multi-asset class portfolio manager at F. van Lanschot Bankiers. Adrian holds an MSc in finance and economics from the University of Bern and is a CFA charterholder.

                          Thomas Taw is the head of the APAC Investment Strategy team. Tom is responsible for delivering investment trade ideas and market insights across index and alpha strategies within the Global Product Solutions group. The research his team produces, anchored in product implementation ideas, spans tactical to strategic investment horizons, structural drivers such as the net-zero transition, as well as breadth of views across precision exposures. His team also drives content strategy for GPS APAC. Tom works with clients across segments, including Wealth, Asset Management, Family Offices and Institutional. He is an investment voice for the firm externally, commenting on market views and industry trends on broadcast and print media including Bloomberg, FT, Reuters, Channel News Asia, Ausbiz TV, MoneyFM and others. Prior to joining Blackrock in 2014, Mr. Taw worked in roles at Macquarie and Nomura in equity sales, trading and execution, covering clients across the hedge fund, asset management, and institutional client landscapes; responsible for trading pan-Asian equities. Mr. Taw holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Business from the University of Warwick.

                          Eva Lee is the Head of Greater China Equities at UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office in Hong Kong. She joined UBS in September 2011 and led a team covering HK/China property research sector. Eva built up and held up the top 3 positions in Asia Real Estate research in the Institutional Investors poll of 2016/17/18. Eva has covered the HK/China property sector for the last 21 years at UBS, before that, at Macquarie, ING, Credit Suisse and HSBC. Eva is a member of Chartered Financial Analysts, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Hong Kong Certified Public Accountants.

                          Mr. Sun is a Senior Advisor to TPG Global. Prior to joining TPG, he was chairman and founder of Black Soil Group, a private Investment holding company. From 1995 to 2015, Mr. Sun was a partner at Warburg Pincus and served as chairman of Asia Pacific for the firm and a member of the firm’s Executive Management Group. From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Sun worked as an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division and Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs (Asia). He also worked as an associate at Lepercq, de Neuflize & Co., a boutique investment bank in New York, and at the United Nations headquarters as a professional translator.

                          Mr. Sun holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Beijing Foreign Studies University and a joint degree of MA/MBA from the Joseph Lauder Institute of International Management and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

                          Mr. Sun is the founder and honorary Chairman of the China Venture Capital Association (CVCA) and the founder and Executive Vice Chairman the China Real Estate Developers and Investors’ Association (CREDIA). He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Lauder Institute at the Wharton School, and a board member of the China Entrepreneurs Club (CEC). Mr. Sun is also an adjunct professor at United International College of Hong Kong Baptist University and an Industry Supervisor at PBC School of Finance of Tsinghua University.

                          Dong Tao (Dr Tao) has over 30 years of industry experience covering China and its economic outlook. He is widely featured as speaker on China geopolitics at UBS client events for UHNW clients and entrepreneurs.

                          Dr. Tao was ranked #1 in First Business News Survey in 2011 and is highly regarded by investors. He has published more than ten books in his career.

                          Dr. Tao joined Credit Suisse in 1998 as the Chief Regional Economist for non-Japan Asia, with a focus on China. He moved from investment bank to wealth management in July 2016. His most recent role was with UBS as the Executive Vice Chair Asia Pacific (APAC) within Global Wealth Management Strategic Clients.

                          Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he was with Schroders Securities Asia as Senior Regional Economist and Head of China research.

                          Dr. Tao holds a Ph.D. degree and a M.Sc. degree from University of Utah and B.A. from Beijing Foreign Language University.

                          He worked in China, the US and Japan. He has been based in Hong Kong since 1994.

                          Dr Yifan Hu joins us as Regional Chief Investment Officer & Head Macroeconomic Asia Pacific. She is based in Hong Kong, and serves as a member of the CIO Asia Investment Committee as well as the CIO Emerging Markets Investment Committee. Working alongside the investment teams globally and in Asia Pacific, Yifan is helping shape CIO's macroeconomic and investment views on APAC.
                          Yifan has held several Chief Economist positions since 2007, most recently at Haitong International where she was tasked with leading H-share equity research. Prior to this role, Yifan worked as a Chief Economist at CITIC Securities, China Economist at France's Natixis, and China Strategist at Merrill Lynch. Her views and columns can be found in leading financial media.
                          Prior to that, Yifan was an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Economics at the University of Hong Kong and published extensively in the international and Chinese academic journals. Yifan has considerable experiences in research and consulting, and served in various prestigious organizations including the World Bank and The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) in Washington D.C.

                          Yifan received her Ph.D in Economics from Georgetown University and B.S. in Economics from Zhejiang University.
