Your new home for wealth management in Monaco

UBS Monaco has completed the renovation of its historical flagship building, Villa Belgica

Located at 2 Avenue de Grande-Bretagne, Villa Belgica is an early 20th century building that has been entirely reimagined through reconstruction and elevation to accommodate UBS’s offices, bringing the total surface area to 1,700 m².

Renowned French architect Jean Nouvel has succeeded in preserving the historical essence of Villa Belgica while incorporating contemporary elements, thereby creating a ”harmony of growth.” This respect for history is paired with a deep reflection on the functionality of spaces, with an interior bathed in light and central staircases naturally differentiating the work areas.

UBS Monaco reinvents the client experience with its new headquarters, unveiling a completely new concept. Located in the heart of the Principality, this project aims to offer first-class banking services and superior amenities, thus redefining the standards of wealth management.

Beyond its design, UBS aims to achieve BREEAM Excellent and BD2M ‘Gold’ (re)certifications for Villa Belgica.

  • The BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certification evaluates the environmental performance of buildings, ensuring high standards in energy efficiency, resource management, and occupant well-being.
  • The BD2M (Sustainable Mediterranean Buildings of Monaco) certification is the highest distinction in sustainability in Monaco.

UBS’s dedication to developing one of the most sustainable buildings in Monaco demonstrates the firm’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
