Before exchanging data between your online accounting software and your bank accounts for the first time, you must activate the bLink interface.
Requirements:
The following requirements must be met to activate the interface:
- You manage your accounting via an online accounting software that can be connected via bLink(see bLink participants).
- You have activated your Access App (see instructions).
- You have activated the camt.053 account report (end of day) in E-Banking (see more information).
Before activating the bLink interface, please ensure you have activated the correct camt account report for each necessary account. This is only necessary for those accounts that you would like to connect to your accounting software.
1. Go to Payments > Report settings to check whether a camt account report is activated.
For camt.053 account reports:
Click on Details and check whether the following settings are enabled:
If your settings do not match the ones in the example above, please adjust them using Edit.
For camt.053 or camt.054 account reports:
Please delete the existing report and set up the correct report as described in step 2.
2. Set up a new camt.053 account report using Order new report.
3. First select the desired camt report, then go on to configure the report settings.
For the detailed report settings, see the example in step 1 above.
Finally, select the accounts for which this report is to be set up. Please only activate the account report for those accounts that you want to connect to your online accounting software.
By saving the report configuration, camt messages are only shown in the overview after you have refreshed the page. They will be created the next time they are due. Please note that changes are made at the account level and, if there are multiple Digital Banking contracts, they will apply to all contracts.
Once you have successfully activated the camt.053 account report, you can also activate the bLink interface. To do this, please switch to your online accounting software.
- In your online accounting,software click Connect bank accounts (or similar wording).
- Select UBS as your bank.
- You will be redirected to a UBS web page. Identify yourself using your Digital Banking contract number.
- Confirm this in the Access App.
- Select your banking relationships and the associated accounts that you want to share with your accounting software.
By selecting Account information, you will share your account and transaction information with your online accounting software.
By selecting Payments you can make payments orders directly via your online accounting software.
6. Confirming your selection.
Have you activated your Access App and were you requested to contact us after successful activation in the Access App?
Please contact our Digital Banking support 0848 848 064 (if calling from abroad: +41 848 848 064) to enable your accounts for automatic bank reconciliation.
You can make changes to the connected banking relationships and accounts yourself at anytime.
In E-Banking, you can find the list of accounting software programs under Products> Business Software SME. Click on the logo of the accounting software you are connected to. You can make changes at any time using Manage banking relationship or Manage accounts.
You can deactivate the interface at anytime and stop the exchange of data between your accounting software and UBS.
In E-Banking, you can find the list of accounting software programs under Products> Business Software SME. Click on the logo of the accounting software from which you would like to disconnect. By clicking Disconnect followed by an additional confirmation, the connection will be deactivated.
If you have approved your accounts for payments, you can trigger payments from your accounting software. Before the transfer can be executed you must provide additional approval in E-Banking.
To do this, log in to E-Banking. Under Payments> Files on record you will find the pending orders that can be approved.
