In the UK, UBS offers a free annual health assessment to permanent employees as part of the firm’s commitment to your wellbeing. Last year, my screening led to an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis but fortunately the early detection enabled me to start my treatment journey quickly and after surgery and several months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, I was told that there was no evidence of disease.
I used the Back-Up Care benefit in the UK a few times to book a nanny when my regular one was suddenly unavailable. I also used it to sign my daughter up for holiday clubs, which was super helpful for childcare emergencies during school holidays.
The Graduate Talent Program let me explore different departments across the bank, build a diverse network, learn from senior colleagues, and figure out what I want in a future role. It ultimately helped me land my first job after the program.
