MBA student and post-grad options at UBS

Worried about entering the industry? Don’t be. Between a summer internship and our post-grad full-time options, we’ll get you ready and positioned to make a strong entrance into your field. The right connections, the right role and everything you’ll need to build a solid career at UBS.

MBA Associate Internship Program

Transform your skills in a single summer. Our internship program takes place over 10 weeks between the first and second year of your MBA. You’ll get first-hand experience in global banking and explore a range of projects, training sessions and networking opportunities. And when you aren’t learning with senior leaders and working with your mentors, you’ll get some down time at our social events.

MBA Associate Full-Time Program

Ready to dive in? If you’re in your second year of MBA studies, this full-time program is the perfect way into the industry. Starting in July, you'll get several weeks of training where we'll equip you with the skills and information you need to succeed before you start in your team. You'll also develop a network of colleagues and senior leaders to keep growing throughout your career at UBS.

Your development

In our MBA programs, you’ll join our network and build connections with colleagues, peers and leaders across the firm. You’ll also get to learn from the best minds in the industry. No matter if you’re in advisory services, financial solutions, guidance of debt, capital trends or providing clients access to the markets.

You’ll never have to go alone at UBS. From the moment you join, you’ll be supported by our Junior Talent team, your line manager and mentor. In both programs, we offer training that will introduce you to all aspects of life at UBS. With your new technical and professional skills, you’ll always be ready for the next challenge.

What we look for

Our focus in these programs is MBA students. Both opportunities are made to fit perfectly into your education, with a summer internship and a post-grad launch option.

Our Associate internships are for MBA candidates between their first and second year of school. While the MBA Associate Full-Time Program is primarily offered to recent MBA graduates who completed a Global Banking Summer Associate internship with us the prior year, we’re always looking for great candidates who qualify.

If you’re a great fit, you’ll receive a link to record your video interview. Be sure to treat it like an in-person interview. Dress smartly, keep eye contact and be concise. You’ll do great.

The last part of this process is a series of virtual or in-person interviews. You’ll get the chance to meet your future line manager and potentially some peers or senior leaders. Show us your personality, tell us about your skills and share why you’re a great match for the position you’d love. This is your chance to really market yourself, so don’t be afraid to leave us with a lasting impression.

Check out our checklist for a strong interview.

We won’t leave you hanging. After the interviews, we’ll reach out as soon as possible. If it’s good news, we may ask you for some extra info (credit check, referrals, etc.) so we can finish up our screening process.
