About us

Who we are

The UBS Wealth Advice Center (WAC) is a diverse team of wealth management professionals across the nation, providing sophisticated and personalized advice enhanced by technology to more than 200k affluent households. The WAC delivers holistic wealth management solutions tailored to meet client needs.

We also serve as a center of excellence for emerging wealth management professionals, offering training programs across various levels of expertise to cultivate the next generation of UBS advisors and associates.

Programs designed for you

To help unlock your potential, our wealth management training programs begin with several weeks of foundations training that covers both technical and professional skills. You’ll be welcomed and supported by our experienced training and line managers, along with colleagues from prior cohorts.

Your initial learning experience will be steep - you’ll go through orientation and new hire foundations, study and earn your Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and complete several weeks of tailored modules relevant to your role.

Setting you up for success

From the moment you start your training program, you’re a member of the UBS Wealth Advice Center.

As you work toward earning your Series 7 and 66 licenses, your learning continues with a mixture of on-the-job and formal coaching with a line manager who’ll take an active role in your career progression and development.

As you put everything you’ve learned into practice, the UBS Wealth Advice Center values your passion and commitment, and rewards your performance. As a result, we offer a competitive compensation package, and tuition reimbursement for the CFP.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment but still deliver thoughtful solutions to problems is key. UBS is a great place to work, and we want people who see challenges as opportunities and have a desire to grow and develop.

Program eligibility criteria

Our wealth management training programs start quarterly (January, April, July, October), and recruiting takes place on a rolling basis once applications open. To apply, you must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree and passed the SIE before the start of the program. Location and start dates may vary for each training program.

I joined the Wealth Advice Center in 2017 as a Training Financial Advisor. At the beginning of the training program, I passed my Series 7 and 66 exams, as well as earned my CFP. Which is, by the way, one of my proudest accomplishments! It taught me how to be fluent in all aspects of financial planning, something that I would have not learned otherwise. The program also allowed me to progress very quickly – from learning operations, to supporting advisors, to eventually acting as a financial advisor for clients with assets up to $5 million!
