UBS Group AG announces launch of new share repurchase program of up to USD 6bn

Zurich, 30 March 2022 – In total, 240,335,273 UBS Group AG shares were repurchased via a separate trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange as part of the 2021 share repurchase program, launched on 8 February 2021, representing 6.49% of the current registered share capital of UBS Group AG. The total repurchase volume amounted to CHF 3,810,251,040, of which CHF 1,516,406,947 (USD 1,636,554,889) year-to-date in 2022.

On 31 March 2022, we intend to commence a new 2022 share repurchase program of up to USD 6bn over two years and expect to execute up to USD 5bn of repurchases under both the now concluded 2021 and the new 2022 repurchase programs by the end of 2022, as announced on 1 February 2022.
