UBS Advisor Messaging
UBS Advisor Messaging offers a direct and convenient way to connect with your client advisor via your preferred instant messaging app WhatsApp or WeChat.

- Place a buy and sell order (subject to our internal pre-trade checks and limited to eligible orders for equities, funds and loans only. Please consult your client advisor for further information.)
1. Inform your client advisor that you want to join UBS Advisor Messaging and they will help to onboard you to this service.
2. After you have been onboarded, you will receive a confirmation WhatsApp message from “UBS Wealth Management”. If you cannot find the message, please scan this QR code to open it.
3. Reply to the WhatsApp message to activate the service.
4. Your UBS Advisor Messaging is now ready for use - start chatting.
1. Inform your client advisor that you want to join UBS Advisor Messaging and they will help to onboard you to this service.
2. Once your client advisor confirms that you have been onboarded, open your WeChat scanner, scan this QR code and click “Follow”.
3. Your client advisor will contact you to perform the activation and verification of your account.
4. Your UBS Advisor Messaging is now ready to use - start chatting.
You can only contact your client advisor using UBS Advisor Messaging. However, your client advisor can invite client account manager and other authorized UBS staff into the group chat, if necessary.
As WhatsApp and WeChat are third-party services, please ensure you fully understand all potential security risks, such as phishing, malware, account theft, impersonation and operational risks when using them.
- You can only communicate with your client advisor by text message and file attachment. Voice call and video call are not supported.
- You can only send Latin letters, Chinese characters and emojis. Please note that each emoji may vary across different operating systems.
You may place orders in equities, funds, and loans (except for loans where you have a standing instruction in place) on UBS Advisor Messaging. The placement of these orders is subject to our internal pre-trade checks and your confirmation of the orders via UBS Access App.
For WhatsApp users, you can approve transactions (excluding loans) directly in the chat without UBS Access App.
