You must have a Hong Kong/Singapore account and possess Accredited Investor/ Professional Investor/ Private Banking status. Additionally, you are not a “vulnerable client”, and are not “U.S. Person”. For Hong Kong nexus clients, you must have provided General Knowledge on Derivatives acknowledgement.

You can access UBS Structured Products Digital on a computer, laptop, tablet and smartphone (iOS). The minimum system and web browser suitability requirements are similar to that for UBS Digital Banking.
Yes, if you are eligible to use UBS Structured Products Digital, you can perform trades via UBS E-Banking and the UBS Mobile Banking App.
You can trade Reverse Convertible Notes (RCNs) (including Worst-of and barrier Autocallable RCNs), and Equity Linked Notes (ELNs) (including ELNs with early redeemable features).
Monday to Friday: 8am – 10pm HKT/SGT.

You can search for an underlying by instrument name, ISIN, RIC, Valor, and Symbol.
If there are many similar underlyings, please check the ISIN to ensure that you’ve selected the required instrument.

Each structured product order requires a minimum investment amount of USD 100,000 (or its equivalent in the relevant currency).
You may place an order at any time during the application operating hours, but the order will only be executed during the relevant underlying's market trading hours.
If you can access UBS Structured Products Digital but are unable to complete an order, please check for any errors or read the on-screen notification message(s).
Some common reasons why an order may be declined:
- There’s insufficient cash or credit available to fund the purchase.
- The product and/or underlying is blocked due to a risk, regulatory, market or exchange rule. For more information, please contact your client advisor.
- The underlying is not available on UBS Structured Products Digital.. Not all asset classes, investment types and instruments are available over UBS Structured Products Digital. If you wish to place an order for a structured product with an underlying that is not available over UBS Structured Products Digital, please contact your client advisor.
- There is a technical platform issue. Please call the UBS Digital Banking hotline for assistance.
Orders in pending status can be cancelled using the “cancel” button on the order overview page.
Clients can check the status of their order cancellation requests in the "Order overview". However, order cancellation notifications(SMS/Email/Push notifications) are not available currently.
Validation messages and suitability checks
Before accepting a structured product order, we will verify it in a number of ways. These include:
- Checking that you have sufficient cash or credit to allow the order to be placed
- Checking that the product is suitable and in line with your risk profile and product knowledge
- Checking that the order meets cross-border and regulatory rules
If we find an issue during these checks, we will either:
- Highlight the issue and allow the order to be placed, or
- Prevent the order from being placed and ask you to contact your client advisor
“Hard block”
If you see an on-screen notification in a red text box (“hard block”), the order cannot be placed and you should contact your client advisor.
“Soft block”
If you see an on-screen notification in an amber text box (“soft block”), you should read the message first before deciding whether to proceed with the order placement or to abort the order. If you have any doubts or concerns about the message, please contact your client advisor.
Query post trade (e.g., notifications, overview)
You can check the real-time status of all the orders that you have placed on the order overview page. Simply click “Markets & Trading” on the top navigation bar to go to the page.

If you have placed an order but you are unable to view the order on the order overview page, you should reset the filter. If the relevant order is still not listed, please contact your client advisor or call UBS Digital Banking hotline.
Transaction confirmations will be sent to you in the same manner as trades placed via your client advisor.
Please call UBS Digital Banking hotline at the earliest opportunity. The hotline team will inform your client advisor and initiate the investigation process. Please note that you may experience restricted access to your online portfolio while investigations are ongoing. Trading and transfers will continue to be available via your client advisor. Either the hotline team or your client advisor will contact you when the investigation is complete and full access has been restored.
You can customize notification events including executed orders. The available notification delivery channels are email, SMS and in-app push-notification. You may choose to receive notifications over multiple notification delivery channels. Order cancellation notifications are not available currently.
Please ensure that you have a registered mobile number and/or email address linked to your digital banking contract.
- Go to “Markets & Trading” and select “Set up notifications”.
- Click “Set up notifications” (green button).
- Set your preferences / insert the relevant information and click “Save”.
