Can I make retroactive payments into pillar 3a for previous years?
No, retroactive payments into pillar 3a are not permitted.
The supervisory authorities stipulate that payments into a 3a pension account must be made in the respective year and must be booked in the retirement account no later than the last bank working day. Unfortunately, no exceptions are allowed.
