UBS brings extensive experience and deep expertise in the China market. In 1964, UBS was the first Switzerland-based bank to establish a presence in the Asia Pacific region and has provided corporate finance advice to Chinese enterprises since 1985. In June 2023, UBS completed the acquisition of Credit Suisse, crossing an important milestone. In May 2024, UBS completed the merger of UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG. UBS's presence in China has been further expanded following the acquisition, especially in the asset management space.
