Since establishment in 2012, the Green Monday team has been working tirelessly to inspire, empower and influence global citizens to adopt a plant-centric diet for the good of the planet, animals and health.
To date Green Monday movement has reached 30+ countries, 20 market coverage with 40,000+ point of sales.
In addition to the one-stop retail and dining solutions, the group work with F&B businesses and retailers including McDonald’s, KFC, Starbucks, Taco Bell, White Castle, as well as supermarket chains and convenience groups like 7-Eleven, ALDI, Carrefour, to name a few, to further expand plant-based options and accelerate change.
Growing up in a Buddhist-philanthropist family, David Yeung, an engineer and Founder and CEO of Green Monday, was raised and inspired to contribute to society selflessly. He has been a 20-year vegetarian out of compassion for animals, an environmental activist and movement maker on sustainability and plant-based diet.
David has spoken at the World Economic Forum, Milken Institute Asia Summit, TEDx Talk and other global conferences to draw awareness to sustainable food and alternative protein development. Green Monday and David are featured by international media to share insights on how to solve the most urgent problems on the planet, with coverage and appearances onBloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Forbes, Financial Timesand Time.
