Global Chief Economist, Wealth Management UBS
Paul joined UBS Wealth Management in August 2016, and is the Global Chief Economist. He is a member of the Global Investment Committee, a UBS Opinion Leader, a sponsor of UBS Speak Up and a UBS Pride Ally. Paul is responsible for developing and presenting the UBS economic outlook, marketing the UBS view on economics, policy and politics around the world. He regularly appears in the print and broadcast media. Paul started at UBS Investment Bank as an intern in 1992, and was Global Economist.
Paul has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University. He is an Honorary Fellow of St Anne’s College, Oxford, sitting on its investment committee, and is a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Circle of Oxford. He holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of London. Paul is also a co-founder of the Peter Culverhouse Memorial Trust (a cancer research and patient care charity). He is an amateur heavyweight boxer, and keen skier.
Paul co-authored “From Red to Green? How the financial credit crunch could bankrupt the environment” with Julie Hudson, published in August 2011. “Food Policy and the Environmental Credit Crunch: From Soup to Nuts”, also co-authored with Julie, was published in September 2013. Paul contributed to “How the world really works: the economy”, a children’s guide to economics published in May 2014. His book "The Truth About Inflation" was published in April 2015.
Lead Market Head Israel, Wealth Management UBS
Ed Gordon is the Lead Market Head for Israel in Wealth Management. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Wealth Management activities both on- and offshore for clients domiciled in Israel. He is based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Before becoming the Lead Market Head for Israel, Ed held various Desk Head roles covering both Affluent, HNW and UHNW Israel Desks.
Prior to this, Ed was working in the Investment Products & Services (IPS) unit of UBS where he had multiple leadership roles both in Zurich and New York.
Before joining UBS, Ed was working for Lombard Odier Private Equity and CSFB.
Ed holds a Master Degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), majoring in Finance, Controlling and Accounting. Additionally, Ed is a CFA Charter Holder and a Certified Wealth Management Advisor – CWMA.

Yali Harari is the CEO of Innovesta Technologies, a new crowd diligence platform. She was the CEO of 3i-MIND, Kamoon Inc and Tescom Israel Ltd. Yali also served as the COO and head of Global Services for NICE systems (NASDAQ:NICE).

Mara is a senior manager at UBS Wealth Management and is passionate about driving innovation and delivering an outstanding client experience across all dimensions of great wealth: business, investments, family and legacy. In particular, she is committed to changing the face of the financial Industry to better serve women. She leads UBS's global women's change program, UBS Unique, and heads UBS's UHNW businesses across Germany, Austria and Italy.
Mara has 17 years of experience in the financial industry and joined UBS in 2000. She is quadrilingual and has held various positions in wealth management, spanning risk transformation & capital management, strategy & organizational design, human resources, business development, sales management, client development and holistic advisory of UHNW clients.
Mara holds a PhD with highest honors in Political Economy from Fribourg University and a degree in economic policy and econometrics.
She is board member of the UBS Optimus Foundation in Germany, striving to improve health, education and protection for the world's most vulnerable children, and she is an advocate for multilingualism and integration

Rina Kupferschmid-Rojas is Global Head of Sustainable Investing in the Chief Investment Office at UBS Wealth Management. She is responsible for the Chief Investment Office's sustainable investing strategy worldwide. Rina was previously managing partner and CEO of ESG Analytics, an environmental, social and governance-oriented investment consultancy, and later Social Impact Director at Mastercard. She also is an adjunct Professor at Columbia University on Sustainable Investing and since 2013 has been one of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Young Global Leaders.She was named in 2014 by Newsweek as one of the leading Women in Tech in NYC. Rina is founding member of the New Innovators Council at the World Resources Institute and is Board Member at IamtheCode, a global movement to teach girls and young women to code as a way to build their creative capacity and help them realize their own potential. Rina founded in 2015 the Impact Lab for the WEF, a boot camp to identify ideas to tackle global social challenges, having launched successfully more than 20 Global Initiatives.
She is an Advisor to the Sustainable Finance Professionals Network at Columbia University and a member of the B-20 Germany Climate Change Taskforce in 2016-2017. She is founder of the Gender Lens Investing Network a partnership between UBS and UNWomen. Rina holds a MA from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and Certificates on Innovating for Sustainability and Corporate Performance from Harvard Business School and Certificates on Public Policy for the 21st Century from the Harvard Kennedy School and Public Policy and Leadership from Yale.

Joanna Landau was born in London and moved to Israel with her family when she was 5 years old. She returned briefly to the UK for high school at the Jewish boarding school Carmel College. After serving in the IDF as a paramedic, she read law at Cambridge University where she gained BA and MA degrees. Joanna also holds an MBA, cum laude, from the Herzlia Interdisciplinary Center in Israel. Joanna worked as a lawyer in the high-tech industry and established two Internet start-ups based in Tel Aviv.
In 2009, Joanna founded Vibe Israel, to change the way people think and feel about Israel, and has been leading it ever since. In 2016 Vibe Israel was a finalist in a prestigious international competition by City Nation Place, the global forum of place branding experts, for the Best Use of Social Media in Place Branding Award.
Joanna is a governor of Tel Aviv University, a member of the International Education Committee of Taglit-Birthright, and a board member of the Brand Israel Group in New York. In 2015 she was shortlisted for the Rappaport Prize for a Change Making Woman, and in 2016 she won the popular vote for the most influential woman in management and business, recognized by Saloona, Israel's leading women's online magazine. She lives in Tel-Aviv with her husband and three children.

Gal Markel is a trained medical oncologist, an Associate Professor of Immunology at Tel Aviv University and the Chief Scientist of the Ella Lemelbaum Institute of Immuno-Oncology at Sheba Medical Center. He completed his PhD in Immunology in 2004 with highest honors, and his MD at 2005, both at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Gal is an internationally recognized expert in translational tumor immunology and clinical immuno-oncology; he is the author of around 90 peer-reviewed papers and the inventor of more than 20 patents. Gal was a co-founder of BoneTone communications, which was acquired by DSPG in 2011 and the founder and CSO of cCAM Biotherapeutics, which was acquired by Merck & Co in 2015. He is the founder and CSO of 4C Biomed Inc and the head of advisory board of Biond Biologics. Gal is a highly active speaker and has given numerous international talks, including TED MED, and has won many national and international awards.

Lee Rubin is the founder of Wekudo, a marketplace for corporate events and activities. It was at the University of Florida where Lee started exploring the idea of being happy. She built Wekudo to help address that struggle and instill happiness back into the lives of employees. In 2008 Dr. Yaron presented at the Computer History Museum* the revolutionary microprocessor development work he lead with his team at NCS which provides the foundation for the microprocessors as we know them today.

Dr. Yaron holds a Ph.D. in Device Physics from the Hebrew University has published numerous scientific papers and holds numerous patents.
