WorldSkills 2024 in Lyon Swiss professionals: ready for the world championships

Just a few short months to go: the 47th edition of WorldSkills will take place from 10 to 15 September 2024 in Lyon, France! The World Skills Championship brings together professional talents from over 65 countries.

The SwissSkills National Team, which consists of 45 talented vocational champions, is among the best in the world. The Swiss team will demonstrate their skills in 41 different skill categories.

The preparations are intense: with around 1,000 hours of training, media coaching and public appearances, the SwissSkills National Team is preparing at the highest level.

The team’s cooperation with experts, employers and professional associations will help it reach its full potential.

Following the excellent success at the European championships last year, where the Swiss team won an impressive 15 medals and achieved the best Swiss result to date, its ambitions for WorldSkills 2024 are correspondingly high. The team is striving to repeat this success and represent Switzerland on the international stage again.
