Under the theme of “An eye on the past, a view to the future” the 27th AIC brought together leaders and experts from a wide range of fields to debate what lessons could be learned from the past to drive better outcomes for the future, including the outlook for inflation, growth, economic policy, supply chains and geopolitics, amongst others. With a view to the future, we looked at the unprecedented intergenerational wealth transfer, the emerging opportunities in Generative AI, neurotechnology, mobility and new energy, while also asking what it would take for cities to thrive in the decades ahead.

Watch the video to hear from our UBS analysts, Permada Darmono, Sunil Tirumalai, Richard Schellbach, Nazomi Moriya and Kenneth Fong who discussed the economic landscape, notable trends, changes and resilience factors shaping each region in Asia.
