Since its inception in January 2001, the annual Greater China Conference (GCC) has established itself as one of the largest gatherings of corporate managers, policy makers, analysts and investors in China. In it’s 22nd edition, this year’s conference is themed - A New Horizon: People, Planet, Prosperity. It provides unparalleled access to domestic and international China specialists, from current and former policy makers, through leading economists and strategists, to industry and company experts.
This year’s conference focused on the drivers of growth of China’s economy, including consumption trends, new energy, and digital transformation. It also explored what common prosperity means for the market and the next frontiers of sustainable finance. Other key areas of focus include the country’s recent structural and regulatory reforms, asset management, healthcare, agriculture, the rise of artificial intelligence, the fintech landscape, and electric vehicles.
GCC continues to enjoy tremendous interest, with over 3,800 attendees, including 2,500 investors and 278 listed and private companies (*35% pure A-Share).
