This is a huge step on our transformation journey to become a more agile organization. “Agile working will allow us to create tailor-made products more quickly and provide clients with personalized, relevant, on-time and seamless services,” says Mike Dargan, Group Chief Digital and Information Officer and co-sponsor of Agile@UBS. “That’s how we’ll truly stand out, deliver on our strategy, and make technology a differentiator for our firm.”

Agile isn’t a new concept for UBS. We’ve enjoyed success with individual agile teams across our firm for many years. But what’s different about Agile@UBS is that we’re bringing all that expertise together in one consistent approach.

Today is our first ‘reset day’, which means colleagues will ‘reset’ the way they work to align with the Agile@UBS model. Supported by a playbook and coaches in addition to Agile@UBS academy training, many have newly defined reporting lines, and will be working in their pods and aligned to crews with clear goals.

We asked a few colleagues who are part of the Agile@UBS initiative to share what agile means to them.
