Health and Development Support for children, Singapore
In spite of a robust healthcare system in Singapore, parents from low-income families face significant challenges and barriers in terms of education on their children’s developmental milestones, as well as in navigating the healthcare system. This results in poorer access for their young children to preventive healthcare services, including early assessment and intervention for developmental issues that adversely impact their later years.
Our partner: Care Corner
Your donation will be used to implement a programme called HEADS-UPP to enable a dedicated team of social service professionals in Care Corner Singapore to work alongside National University Hospital with partner preschools to empower parents within the community with preventive health education and community-based health screenings and activities. Through which, children can receive equitable support in their early years.
