UBS Arena will bring big economic boosts to the Tri-State area. We have deep roots in this community, with more than 12,000 UBS employees living and working here. So we’ve made sure that building this new venue and running its events will benefit the local communities:
- 10,000 new construction jobs
- 3,000 permanent jobs, with at least 30% available for workers from Queens and Nassau
- 30% of the contracting spend will go towards partnering with minority and female-owned businesses
As always, we have our eyes on the future. We’ll be running lots more projects and investments to strengthen Tri-State communities. We’re focusing on giving young people better prospects for college and careers – through post-secondary education and entrepreneurship programs.
