The Allverte residential complex in Allschwil is a new development that celebrates intergenerational living.

Multigenerational living brings people together and opens up new perspectives, which has been achieved in the four new buildings of the Allverte development. In addition to family apartments, the new development project boasts a daycare center and apartments with hospital-external care ("Spitex") services that are adapted to the needs of the elderly.

169 sustainable rental apartments for all generations

The apartments were ready to move into in the summer of 2023 and all of them were snapped up quickly – which is no wonder given that the complex offers something for everyone. The 169 living units have between 1.5 and 4.5 rooms. Forty of the apartments are adapted to the needs of older people who receive supplementary benefits, offering basic "Spitex" services from Spitex Allschwil Binningen Schönenbuch as well as a high level of comfort and maximum peace of mind, including a 24-hour emergency service. The senior living apartments are only available to people who are dependent on supplementary benefits.

Allverte also has a lot to offer young people: Families with children appreciate the daycare center integrated into the complex, and single residents and couples can quickly connect with their neighbors in the communal gardens in the elaborately designed outdoor area.

Living sustainably

The designers of Allverte placed great emphasis on bringing young and old together and getting neighbors to interact with each other. Residents have access to a common room and a guest room, which have been used extensively since the complex opened in August 2023. Sustainable mobility is also encouraged with a bicycle workshop, an e-bike sharing station (Pick-e-Bike), four e-cargo bikes, and two electric vehicles for car sharing. The buildings meet the sustainability criteria of greenproperty and Minergie Eco.

Nature on the doorstep

The residents of Allverte have nature right at their doorstep as the complex transitions seamlessly to the local public park (Wegmattenpark Allschwil). The four individual buildings are surrounded by a shared garden with a pergola and a communal area with barbecue facilities.

Key takeaways:

  • The Allverte complex has a market value of CHF 80.38 million
  • The gross yield after deducting the ground rent interest is 3.6%
  • 170 apartments, 40 of which are adapted to the needs of elderly people
  • Shared garden with pergola and daycare center in the complex
