Why was this changeover being made and what has changed?
On the weekend of 5 to 6 October 2024, we have upgraded the IT infrastructure of the Fisca Pension Fund Foundation of UBS. We look forward to offering you an even better client experience in the future, starting with a new overview of your 3a retirement savings.
The changeover has taken place automatically: you didn’t need to do anything.

General information on the Fisca changeover
Due to the change, your UBS Fisca accounts and associated UBS Fisca custody accounts have been assigned new combined Fisca 3a numbers. The new numbers replace your previous account and custody account numbers. They have been visible in your Digital Banking since 8 October 2024.
Your 3a pension solutions are still listed in Digital Banking, at Multimats and on all Fisca documents.
It is possible that a Fisca account or a Fisca custody account has been explicitly excluded from your Digital Banking contract. For legal reasons, the new combined retirement solution 3a (UBS Fisca 3a) cannot be displayed in Digital Banking.
If you would like to see your UBS Fisca 3a account in Digital Banking, send your client advisor a message via the mailbox in E-Banking or call the hotline.
Until the end of October 2024, you received an account statement from all Fisca accounts according to your delivery instructions, which includes the past transactions since the beginning of the year, as well as the balance.
All balance views, as well as past transactions on former Fisca accounts, are not visible in Digital Banking.
If you have any questions in this regard, you are welcome to contact your customer advisor or call customer service.
Your 3a retirement savings accounts was debited and credited due to the changeover on the value date 4 October 2024 with the booking text “Transfer balance.” This ensured that the debit and the credit took place on the same date. Due to different “working hours” of the former and the new pension platform, the technical debit was completed on 7 October 2024 and the credit from 5 to 6 October 2024. Therefore, the booking date of the credit appeared as 5/6 October, and the debit on 7 October.
The value date is relevant for the calculation of interest, so you were neither advantaged nor disadvantaged.

Administration
Due to the changeover, your Fisca accounts and associated Fisca custody accounts were assigned new, combined Fisca 3a numbers. The new numbers replaced your previous account and custody account numbers and have been visible in your Digital Banking since 8 October 2024. After the changeover, you also received a special statement with the new Fisca 3a numbers.
Yes, the 3a retirement savings balance continues to be included in the total assets and is therefore relevant for the banking package price.
No, we take care of the documentation and you don’t have to do anything.
Existing general powers of attorney continue to apply to your 3a pension solutions at the Fisca Pension Fund Foundation.
If you wish to revoke the power of attorney, please contact your client advisor.
Yes, the existing beneficiary arrangement continues to apply after the changeover.
Opening and closing
You can continue to open a 3a pension solution yourself in Digital Banking.

Newly opened UBS Fisca 3a will only be visible in Digital Banking the following day. However, payments in favor of newly opened UBS Fisca 3a can be recorded in Digital Banking immediately after the opening has been carried out.

Digital Banking
You will still find your 3a retirement savings in your Digital Banking under the home area on the “Accounts and cards” and the “Assets” tabs.
Since the changeover in October 2024, no securities orders within pillar 3 are visible in the “Order overview” in Digital Banking. Pending securities orders already entered under pillar 3 have been displayed as “canceled” in the “Order overview” in Digital Banking. However, we have executed already registered securities orders according to your wishes.
All Fisca documents can still be found in UBS Safe. Since the changeover, you will find the Fisca documents under the category “Important Information” and under the document type “Pension services.”
Specific account names / abbreviations are assigned to Digital Banking contracts with up to 30 products. As soon as a Digital Banking contract contains more than 30 products, the additional account designations are assigned arbitrarily consisting of four digits.
All account names / abbreviations can be changed independently in E-Banking under “Accounts & Cards” > “Account information.”
All former Fisca accounts were netted between 8 October and 11 October 2024. As soon as a Fisca account, which has been set as a favorite on the home screen, has been balanced, the favorite will be displayed as “not available”. To change this view, the favorites can be updated or reset directly from the home screen.
Payments and standing orders
From UBS
Nothing changes for you: You can still enter deposits in Digital Banking on the “Payments” tab.
All available UBS Fisca 3a accounts already appear for selection within the same client relationship. If you want to record a payment to another UBS Fisca 3a account, you can simply add it when selecting the beneficiary.
From third-party providers
Payment orders from a third-party provider must be adjusted from 8 October.
- Deposit directly into the collective account of the Fisca Pension Fund Foundation:

- Recipient: Fisca Pension Fund Foundation of UBS AG, 8098 Zurich
- Payment note: UBS Fisca 3a number / first name and last name of the UBS Fisca 3a holder (e.g., F3xxxxxxxx / John Doe)
- You must also enter the beneficiary UBS Fisca 3a number and the first and last name of the beneficiary in the payment details, e.g., F3xxxxxxxx / John Doe
The new deposit data can be found on the flyer provided or you can order your personal confirmation for UBS Fisca 3a with a single click.
Already entered payments and standing orders charged to a UBS account to be credited to a 3a retirement solution have been automatically adjusted for you.
Payment orders from a third-party provider must be adjusted from 8 October.

Payments to be credited to a former UBS Fisca account will be forwarded to your new UBS Fisca 3a account by the end of 2025.
From 1 January 2026, payments credited to a former Fisca account will be returned to the sender.
UBS account transfers take a maximum of two hours on business days and are then visible in Digital Banking. Deposits from third parties are also visible on the UBS Fisca 3a account with a delay of two hours. A UBS Fisca 3a account will not be credited on non-business days.
Important: Once the debit entry has been made, the credit to the UBS Fisca 3a is valid for the current tax year – even though the credit is not yet visible on the UBS Fisca 3a account.
Investments and investment plans
Fisca UBS investment plans are no longer offered as of 30 August 2024.
Current Fisca UBS investment plans could not be modified after 30 August 2024:
You can’t change the fund selection and the term, but you can still cancel the current investment plan.
A successor solution is available from 14 October 2024.

All pending securities orders (with a future execution date after 7 October 2024) are transferred and executed in line with the client’s wishes. Pending securities orders (including Fisca investment instructions and Fisca investment plans) with an execution date between Thursday, 3 October and Sunday, 6 October 2024 have been executed on Monday, 7 October 2024.
Important: From 7 October, you will see pending securities orders within pillar 3 as “canceled” in Digital Banking.
You can request a correct overview of pending securities orders within pillar 3 directly from your client advisor or by calling the hotline.
No, no securities orders as part of pillar 3 can be viewed in Digital Banking after 7 October 2024.
Account statements and tax certificates
You can still find your Fisca tax certificate and other Fisca documents in the UBS Safe, as well as in Digital Banking under “Documents.”
In addition, you can request all Fisca documents from the Fisca Pension Fund Foundation by calling 0612885040.
You will receive an annual Fisca account statement at the end of each year. You will also receive a Fisca tax certificate for deposits made into pillar 3 in the previous tax year. Both documents will be sent to you in accordance with your delivery instructions. If you held other investments at UBS, you will also receive a statement of assets at the end of the year, which also lists your 3a retirement assets.
After the changeover in October 2024, you will receive account statements for your former UBS Fisca accounts and your new UBS Fisca 3a pension solutions.

Pillar 3a retirement assets are listed on the asset statement as part of the total assets on page 1, as well as in a separate portfolio.
