The UBS Culture Foundation supports professional artists who are a firmly established in the Swiss art scene and regularly exhibit at recognized art venues with cross-regional reach. The foundation can also support Swiss art museums with the purchase of artworks for their collections.
We support
- Contemporary artists of supraregional significance through promotion grants and acknowledgement grants
- Swiss art museums in the acquisition of works of high artistic quality and art-historical significance by Swiss artists
We do not support
- Non-Swiss artists without permanent residence in Switzerland
- Artists or museums that have received support from the UBS Culture Foundation within the last five years
- Artists who have received a rejection from the UBS Culture Foundation within the last two years.
- Development and realization of art projects, exhibitions, works, and events
- Publications or research projects
- Art students or projects in the context of education and further education, Scholarships
