How to login
We have provided answers to the most frequently asked questions about digital banking in the short videos and FAQs below.

You need your Access Card, Contract Number and PIN mailer. Your Access Card can be used with or without the Card Reader. The Card Reader serves to magnify the Access Card display screen.
Activate your Access Card
1. Switch on your Access Card
Press and hold POWER button and the word "PIN" will appear on the display.
OR
Insert your Access Card into the Card Reader with the chip facing up
2. Enter the UBS-issued PIN found in your PIN mailer and press OK.
3. Enter your preferred PIN (four to eleven digits) and press OK.
A note on security: The PIN should not be easy to guess and should not contain personal data such as your telephone number or date of birth.
4. Enter your preferred PIN again and press OK.
5. The new PIN is valid immediately. Your Access Card can now be used.
You can change your PIN any time by pressing DEL after switching on the UBS Access Card Display.
Important note
To prevent unauthorized access and misuse, your UBS Access Card display will be blocked after three incorrect PIN entries.
A blocked card cannot be reactivated. Please contact our e-banking helpline to order a new UBS Access Card Display.
Simply follow these steps:
Via E-Banking
- Enter your Contract Number on the login page and click 'Continue'. A six-digit code will be generated.
2. Press and hold the POWER button until the word 'PIN' appears, or insert the Access Card into the Card Reader. The use of Card Reader is optional. Use Card Reader to magnify the display screen on the Access Card. Enter your PIN and press 'OK'.

3. On your Access Card or Card Reader, enter the six-digit input code displayed on the login page.
4. An eight-character security code will be generated on your Access Card or Card Reader. Enter this security code on the login page and click 'Login'.
Via Mobile Banking
- Launch the Mobile Banking app. Enter your Contract Number on the login screen. Tap 'Method' and select 'Access Card Display or card reader'.
2. Press and hold the POWER button until the word 'PIN' appears, or insert the Access Card into the Card Reader. The use of Card Reader is optional. Use Card Reader to magnify the display screen on the Access Card. Enter your PIN and press 'OK'.

3. On your Access Card or Card Reader, enter the six-digit input code displayed on the login screen.
4. An eight-character security code will be generated on your Access Card or Card Reader. Enter this security code on the login page and click 'Login'.
Unfortunately, we cannot send you a new PIN or remove the block on your Access Card.
If you forget your PIN or have blocked it after three incorrect attempts, the Access Card will need to be replaced

Yes, you can change the language on the Card Reader. We currently have ten language options available:
Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Japanese
Please follow the steps below to change the language:
- Insert the Access Card (with the chip facing up) into the Card Reader
- Press the yellow button (DEL/MENU)
- Press the arrow down button till 'Language' and press 'OK'
- Press the arrow down button until you locate your desired language and press 'OK'
Please press and hold the POWER button to switch on the Access Card. This is to avoid the card from turning on accidentally.
For ease of use, we recommend you place the card on a flat surface when using the Access Card.
Access Card login allows you to have access to all the features on Digital Banking. Access Card login requires your Contract Number, Access Card and PIN to log in.
Password/Touch ID allows you limited access to your account due to security reasons. Password/Touch ID requires your Contract Number and Password to log in.
