QR-billing

Create QR-bills yourself – easily and free of charge with the UBS QR portal or using a billing software.

Options for QR-billing

There are two basic ways in which you can invoice with QR-bills: Either you use your own billing software or you create QR-bills easily and free of charge in our UBS QR portal.

UBS QR-portal

The UBS QR portal allows billers with a UBS or Credit Suisse account without billing software to create QR-bills in various versions free of charge and without having to log in. From a simple invoice to multiple payment sections with different billing data: Try it out and create QR-bills yourself. In the QR portal, you can also convert your account number into a QR IBAN, create customer lists and check created and received QR-bills.

QR-bills created with the UBS QR portal already contain structured addresses in accordance with the new requirements.

Structured addresses in QR-bills

New requirements for the QR-bill come into force on 21 November 2025. From this date, only structured addresses can be used in the Swiss QR code. If you still generate QR-bills with unstructured address data via your software, you must convert this data to structured addresses. To ensure that your invoices can still be paid smoothly after 30 September 2026, we recommend that you start this conversion as soon as possible.
