This offer can currently only be opened at a UBS branch. The child does not need to be present when it is opened.
Only the child’s parents and/or legal guardian may sign contracts in their name. Accordingly, only these people may open an account. Only one parent or legal guardian needs to be present when opening the account.
In addition, the parents and/or legal guardian must already be UBS clients and have access to UBS Digital Banking. If you are not yet a UBS client, you can open UBS key4 banking online via app or a UBS me banking package directly in a branch.
At the age of 12, the parents’ right of disposal ceases to apply by default, which the parents or the legal guardian are informed about in advance by letter. In order for the child to continue to have access to the account, they must go to a UBS branch to identify themselves and sign the new contractual documents.
The daily limit is CHF 20 and the monthly limit CHF 100. Parents can adjust the daily and monthly limits in their UBS Digital Banking.
