Once you have opened an account, you will receive your debit card by post within a few working days.

Banking at a UBS Multimat

You can use a UBS Multimat to pay bills, consult account information, carry out transfers and manage standing orders.

Pay securely online

Thanks to 3D-Secure, you can shop securely online with your debit card.

3D-Secure from Mastercard and Visa offers you additional protection against unauthorized use of your card when making purchases from participating retailers.

You will be asked to confirm card payments for online purchases easily and securely with the UBS Access App.

Prevent misuse

If your card has been lost or stolen, you can immediately block or temporarily deactivate your card in E-Banking or in the Mobile Banking App.

Personalize your debit card

You can access your debit card at any time in Digital Banking and switch the following functions on and off as required:

Online purchases
Cash withdrawals and purchases in stores
Contactless payments
Temporarily deactivate your card
Activate the magnetic strip (generally no longer required in Europe)
Cardless payments via smartphone and smartwatch (currently only possible with Apple Pay)

You can also:

Set daily and monthly limits
Block your card online if it is lost, stolen or withheld by an ATM
Request a replacement card
Order a new PIN code
Specify which accounts you want to have access to with your card at UBS ATMs and UBS Multimat machines
