Using color

Text and background colors that conflict or have too little contrast between each other can cause readability issues for users who are color blind or have low vision

Designers have defined color combinations with a good contrast ratio for passing WCAG 2.0 AA.
Especially with text elements that have an image as background, you have to pay attention to the sufficient contrast (in every viewport)

What to check for

You do not need to check for sufficient color contrast ratio, as long as you utilize the template and choose from the given colors.
Color is not used as the only visual means of conveying information.
