How it works
How it works
- The page headline is an element that is displayed on each content page.
- It consists of a mandatory keyline and infoline. Also a headline caption can be inserted.
- For the keyline, three font sizes are available
- small
- medium (default)
- large
- The infoline always has the same font size. Optionally, individual words can be highlighted in red. However, not in bold or italic.
- The property allows to define a variation of the infoline (shorter version of the text) which is pulled to the Search Driven Activity Stream instead of the Infoline.
- Margin below page heads
Hiding the bottom margin allows eliminating white space between page heads that have an image and a Top Level Grid (or other Top Level component) that has a background color.
Only use for these cases.
How to use it
How to use it
- To ensure a great user experience, we make sure the keyline clearly and concisely indicates the page content, including the 2-3 main keywords, and is no longer than 60 characters.
- Font sizes may vary across pages of your site. However, try to establish patterns to maintain a degree of consistency. A pattern might be using large and short keylines on overview pages and smaller more wordy keylines on lower level pages.
- Alternatively, you might apply different sizes to different categories of your site.

Reference for publisher
The Page Headline component is a fixed element on top of the content area of all FIT templates.

The property allows to define a variation of the info line (shorter version of the text) which is pulled to the Search Driven Activity Stream instead of the Info Line.
