How it works

  • The end-user will see the external disclaimer for a link for which it is set. Before the link target is accessed the end-user has to interact with the external disclaimer:
    • If the end-user confirms that the link should be accessed, the light box is closed and the link is triggered with the original defined opening behavior. (Continue button)
    • If end-user declines
      • If configured, after hitting decline, the user is redirected to the provided in the dialog page.
      • If not configured, user will be redirected to previous page (if coming from ubs.com) or to the respective ubs.com (if coming outside the ubsc.om).
  • Cookie setting
    • If configured to set a cookieSets a cookie for the individual link that the external disclaimer was accepted.
    • Else: No cookie is set, external disclaimer is always shown and acceptance not remembered.

which are defined as link targets inside the Link tab.

Reference for publisher
