- New option to display a video in the page head by adding a Brightcove ID.
- The video integration is possible in these page head styles
- Hero
- Welcome
- Stage full bleed
- It is possible to play and pause the looping video
- The video plays without sound for the following reasons
- The video in the page header only needs to be decorative. Any story or narrative must be avoided.
- If we were to add sound, even if only the instrumental UBS logo sound, we would have to provide an alternative in the text
- We would need to add a button to show/hide the transcript in addition to the play button
- Sound adds data and makes the page load slower. The sound also increases the processing effort for the customer's device
- The user experience becomes risky as it relies heavily on an internet connection. If this is bad, the video will start to flicker and probably not only visually but also the audio will stutter.
- When configured, the height of the Page Head depends on the video file added for the element.
- The height of the video can be adjusted for the "Welcome" and "Stage Full Bleed" styles:
- Extra small
- Small (default)
- Medium
- Large

How to use it
- Video in the title is best suited with the welcome style.
- The other two options are not quite ideal, as the header text is displayed over the video.
- As for the format, widescreen video is certainly best. Best at the moment: 16:9 ratio.
- The video should have a decorative character. Any video with text or a narrative story is not optimal.
- Use this style selectively, otherwise the "specialness" will become something normal.
