How it works

The footer area includes the following:

  1. The footer breadcrumb is a fixed element showing a navigation (breadcrumb) trail where the current viewed page is located inside the page hierarchy.
  2. Displays the UBS purpose slogan along with the UBS logoLast modified date and time (configuration level: automatic)
  3. The doormat consists of a four column grid which contains each a paragraph system for adding the components link list and doormat teaser.
  4. Displays the current domicile and allows to open an overlay to set up a different country.
  5. Displays the short URL (also known as 'Marketing URL" or "MURL") of the current page if set for specific page URL. Can be hidden by configuration.
  6. Cross-site navigation. (configuration level: homepage/language)
  7. ‘Follow us on social media’ links (configuration level: page)
  8. Footer navigation which shows legal and other links (e.g. cookie management information).
  9. Legal footer disclaimer text referenced for the page.

How to use it

Configure the doormat to give users a quick and informative overview of the primary choices they can make. Nothing important is hidden and all options in the doormat are accessible in one click.

Reference for publisher

  • Follow us links and cross navigation on the new homepage are not configured differently than before, but as the page properties and configuration are not all migrated, the activation of the links and the cross navigation are to be done in the Classic UI environment.
  • The footer disclaimer is a fixed component. Only the disclaimer reference is done via a TouchUI dialog. The content setup is done via the Classic UI interface.
