
On viewports Medium and Large, the lightbox appears as a layer sitting above the grayed out page content.
How it works
How it works
- The display of the interstitial page is via time- and action-based triggers, different to the existing lightbox cases.
- The interstitial page is opened as a lightboxes on top of the current page.
- Possible behavioral settings for regular lightbox
- Width 100%, 80%, 60% or 40%
This selection determines how much width the lightbox takes up in relation to the viewport. For example, selecting 40% will result in the lightbox taking up 40% of the width of the viewport. - Hide elements like logo, page head, footer links or disclaimer
Checking an option will hide the corresponding element so that it is not displayed in the Lightbox. (Please note that the logo is always hidden on M and L viewports. Therefore, checking the 'Hide Logo' option will hide the logo only on XS and S viewports.)

Defines how the interstitial light box display is triggered (in seconds, maximum 600 seconds) - On exit intention
Defines the time (in seconds) which has to be exceeded till the exit intention display is active and may be triggered.

On the client side (browser of end-user) has to be checked if the functional cookie specified for the interstitial (auto-generated name) is set for the end-user already- If set, the the interstitial is not displayed.

How to use it
- Use lightboxes and overlays exclusively for:
- critical information (agree to legal disclaimer)
- modal tasks (e.g. 'really leave UBS website?')
- content specific call to action (e.g. ‘get in touch’)
- In all cases keep content on your lightbox concise and focused on a specific piece of information or action.
