How it works

It allows the display of sets of responsive articles, news, market news, content and topic pages in one stream
Articles and news can be displayed by media type in the stream.
Available media types
- video
- audio
- webinar
- pdf
- news
- events
- podcast
It uses the 'UBS search system' to select the component content.
It allows the visitor to filter content dynamically in the page by:
- Tags
- Keyword search
- Time range
- Media types
The settings allow tag combinations using AND, OR and EXLCUDE operators and allow the author to configure which features are enabled and which tags can be used for filtering
It is possible to create a parametrized URL to showcase pre-filtered Search Driven Activity Streams in the page. The URLs are created by clicking on the tag filters.
Supported activity stream layouts:
- Tile
- Thumbnail
- Minimal
- Feature (no filter functionality for the visitor)
- Grid
- Insights
External articles can be added in the SDAS via article templates
- The user is redirected to an external target page instead of the article.
The Media Type information can be configured for the Page Head – Article/ News (Responsive Article and Responsive News Temple).
- Configured information is indexed by Attivio and associated icon is displayed in the the Search Driven Activity Stream
  Note: only available on layouts "Grid" and "Insights"
The layouts tile, thumbnail and news have the option to show/hide more of the teasers. When you activate "Show more, a numer of additional entries are displayed and both the "Show More" and the "Show Less" buttons show up.
Recommended Activity Stream based on Lead Tag history
- New property in the Search Driven Activity Stream to trigger displaying of recommended results based on user’s interest.
- When enabled, the functionality uses information about lead tags assigned to pages visited by the end user and filters content displayed in the SDAS based on this information - ONLY content that has the same lead tags associated with it is displayed in the SDAS.
Article on a fixed position
- It is possible to display an article manually at a fixed position.
- That means, for example, if you want to display an article in the first position for a longer time, you can configure it manually.

Important for accessibility

All article teaser have a "Show more" link which is automatically displayed, leading to the article.

By default this page would result in having several links with the same unspecific text "Show more", which is a clear breach of the guidelines, as a blind could not distinguish the links for making a choice.

Therefore the article link text can be adjusted manually by adding a hidden complement.

Please always add meaningful article link text to your article.

Initial stage when "Show More" is enabled will only display the "Show More" button
Once "Show More" is clicked and x more entries are displaying, both the "Show More" and the "Show Less" buttons show
Clicking "Show Less" reverts all actions of the "Show More"/ removes x entries from the display
When no more entries can be shown, only "Show Less" displays
