Is the visual hierarchy of the used formatting of the titles and subtitles consistent?- Are the headings (h1,h2,h3…) in the correct order and is no level skipped?
Think mobile
- Does the images have an ideal cut for each viewport?
- Is the most important CTA visible area (first view) on mobile viewport?
- Are tables in the mobile view presented in a meaningful and understandable way?
Consistency
- Do the images used support the message of a page’s content?
- Is the visual language uniform on one page/site?
- Is the layout of pages on a site consistent?
- Are vertical spacings and headline sizes, used across a site, consistent?
- Are the contact details of pages on a site presented consistently?
- Are links, linklists or buttons in a site formatted consistently?
Usability
- Is the text width not more than 50%-60% of the page width?
- Are the link labels meaningful?
- If you have very long text, is it optimized for fast reading/scanning?
- Does the content have enough white space to be able to scan it optimally?
Client centricity
- Is it easy and quick to see what topics the page contains?
- Are there any links (“next best action”) on every page?
